Hi, I’m Matthew Bibby and I’m the designer, inventor and founder of Bibby bikes. As a lifelong passionate cyclist and years working as an engineer in the motorcycle and bicycle industries, I feel that I know the strengths and weaknesses of various approaches to design.

Many products in the bike industry may look sleek on the surface, but under the hood they are overly complex, susceptible to defects, full of proprietary components, and struggle to fulfil their core practical purpose.

I want to take cargo trailers back to their roots:
simple, low cost and functional transport.
